Through a species-rich mixed forest with wetlands to Plaun Barcuns and Puzzetta. T2
Details
Description
Up to Alp Plaun Barcuns pines, swiss stone pines, birches, larches, rowanberry and blueberry bushes line our path. We hear the rippling of small streams and in between the call of the pine jay. He picks the pine nuts from the cones, stows them in large numbers in his throat sac under the tongue and transports them to storage hiding places. He leaves the remains of the cones.
Above the hut, the forest gradually clears and the terrain becomes more rocky. Crossing pastures and small streams we reach the hut Stavel Sut from where we descend into Val la Buora. The wild waters of the "Glatscher Davos la Buora" have created a wide and stony stream bed here. It is a very wild and primeval landscape.
Through a forest, the path now climbs slightly to Alp Puzzetta where we are surprised with a modern, red building. Up to 300 dairy goats and 4 - 6 dairymen and helpers spend the summer here. For the descent to Fuorns we choose the somewhat steep, direct hiking trail along the lower glacier stream.
Geheimtipp
In August, the blueberries are ripe.
The hike has insider tip potential!
Sicherheitshinweis
Sure-footedness is required, the path is sometimes rocky and irregular. The ascents and descents are quite steep.

Directions
From Fuorns we walk about 5 minutes along the pass route to Acla, where we see the signpost on the left side of the road. The marked hiking trail now leads us to Val La Buora. After crossing the stream here, we keep left until we reach Alp Puzzetta. Below the Alp building we choose the hiking trail directly into the valley, if you like it more comfortable, the driving path.
