Description

The nature adventure trail is located in the untouched nature of Flumser Kleinberg. It leads from the Schönhalden mountain hotel at 1500 m above sea level via hiking trails, alpine pastures, and through mountain forest down to the valley station Flums-Saxli at 600 m above sea level. There are many beautiful viewpoints that are worth stopping at to enjoy the panorama. A nice fireplace is available halfway along the route. The exciting educational trail can be hiked downwards or upwards or ridden with a bike.

On 23 panels, topics such as alpine farming, protective forest, geology, wildlife, and nature conservation are covered. The walking time is about 2.5 hours. The valley station Flums-Saxli can be reached in 5 minutes by car from Flums or by post bus from Flums train station. Good footwear is required in any case.
