Description

Deep beneath the municipality of Tujetsch, a gigantic structure was built over two decades: the Gotthard Base Tunnel. At 57 kilometers long, it is the centerpiece of the NEAT (New Railway Alpine Transversal) and one of the longest tunnel tubes in the world.

On two circular routes, the NEAT adventure trail offers insights into the construction and operation of this engineering marvel. Twelve informative stations invite you to play and experiment.

The adventure trail is suitable for families, groups, school trips, and all young-at-heart explorers. Access is possible at all stations. The brochure can be picked up at the Sedrun Tourist Office, Via Alpsu 64a, 7188 Sedrun.

In winter, the path from 1-4 and A-D is open.

Hidden Gem

In summer, the terrace at Lag da Claus is open. The Camping Viva restaurant is open in summer and winter. Please check the opening hours.
