Show all 6 images
From Nufenen, the path leads first over the A13 and the Hinterrhein, before it goes via Waldgüeter and Black Forest on the right side of the valley high above the Areuabach towards Curciusa. At the Areua-Alp (Alp de Rog) the route turns right and runs on the right steep slope partly pathless, but well marked, in a zigzag course up to the Strec de Vignun / Vignone Pass. Along the course of the Ri de Fontanalba, the route leads through a beautiful high valley to Cassina de Vignun. The descent is via Bosch di Sciuch to San Bernardino village. From here, the PostBus goes in the direction of Bellinzona or Chur.
