Description

A great and challenging mountain hike that requires a good level of fitness. The first section of the trail is identical to the hike to the Fläscher Seen lakes. From the uppermost lake it becomes quite steep. The stopover on the Fläscher Fürggli offers a beautiful view of the valley. Now you still have around 300 meters to go before you reach the summit. But it's worth the effort, the panoramic view is magnificent. With a bit of luck, you might spot ibex. Before you make your way back, you must sign the summit register.

Take the ascent path to the lowest Fläscher See lake. From there, either via Alp Sarina or Alp Bad.

Hidden Gem

A visit to the Älplibahn restaurant is worthwhile because the view is fantastic - Viva & en Gueta!

Safety Note

The section between the ridge and the foremost Fläschersee lake can be slippery in places after rainfall. Demanding hike, requires surefootedness and a head for heights.

Equipment

Normal hiking equipment, sturdy mountain boots.
