Description

The starting point of the cross-country skiing route is the BIELER SPORT NORDIC-CENTER IN PARPAN. From there it goes to Mittelberg, where you enjoy a beautiful view of the opposite valley side with the Piz Danis and the Stätzerhorn. In the middle of the well-preserved Maiensäss settlement, you quickly leave everyday life behind and literally "glide" away from it. On the way back, you can once again admire the surrounding mountain world. The route from Mittelberg to Parpan is ideal for gliding and enjoying. For a leisurely "cool down", the Triangle route in Parpan is suitable.

Hidden Gem

The enjoyable descent ends directly at the sun terrace of the Bieler Sport Nordic-Center in Parpan. Perfect for a refreshment.

Safety Note

The track from Parpan to Capfeders and back is mostly signaled and accessible in both directions

You can conveniently rent or buy your cross-country skiing equipment on site at one of the sports stores. Further information can be found here.

Directions

Public Transport

Arrival is by train to Chur. From there you reach Parpan by post bus within 25 minutes (post bus stop: Parpan Post).


From there you can walk to the trail entry point.

Travel Information

From Basel and Zurich - Chur-South (exit no. 17) - Parpan.


From Milan - Lugano - San Bernardino Tunnel - Thusis - Chur-South (Lenzerheide exit) - Parpan.

Parking

You can park at the Heimberg parking lot.
