Ambitious runners can run from St. Moritz village up to Piz Nair, overcoming over 1200 meters of altitude in one go.

Description
The running route leads from the village centre of St. Moritz (1822 m above sea level) via Salastrains and Signal up to Piz Nair (3057 m above sea level) and offers, in addition to sporting challenges, a spectacular view of the Upper Engadin upon arrival at the finish. The mountain railways offer the possibility to deposit luggage (backpack, sports bag) at the valley station of the funicular in St. Moritz village. It is then transported up to Piz Nair and can be collected again at the top. This way, the view from the mountain restaurant can be enjoyed comfortably in dry clothes.

Hidden Gem
On the Saturday before the Engadin Summer Run (mid-August), the Vertical Summer Run Free Fall takes place. The goal is the "free fall" platform, which served as the start of the men's downhill at the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships.
