The Plaun cross-country ski trail is illuminated daily until 9:00 p.m. During the day, it is perfect for courses or short training sessions. Those who want to extend their training can add a good 6 kilometers on the Valata Flond trail. This makes it a complete cross-country skiing experience.

The trail is not illuminated in case of rain or snowfall.

Description

The Plaun cross-country ski trail is perfect for evening training until 9 p.m. or of course for courses or short laps. Those who want to complete the cross-country skiing experience during the day can add the often demanding 6 kilometers to Valata and back.

There is a changing room in the schoolhouse next to the trail.

Day passes and weekly passes can be conveniently purchased at the trail entry by putting the amount into the cash box or cashlessly via TWINT. Alternatively, day passes can be obtained at the information office in Meierhof, at Cresta Sport in Affeier, and Casanova Sport in Meierhof.

Equipment

Good cross-country skiing equipment is necessary for this route. Great importance should be placed on functional cross-country ski clothing, appropriate cross-country ski boots, poles of the correct length, and cross-country skis that have been waxed and are the right length. For eye protection, a sports glasses with UV protection should be worn. Our sports specialty shops in the Surselva region are happy to advise you.

There are three variants available. From flat to steeply ascending, everything is possible. For beginners and advanced skiers.

In the evening, the Foppa trail is illuminated until 9.00 p.m. In case of rain or snowfall, the trail is not illuminated.

Flaun Sura trail: 3 km in length, 51 metres in altitude
