On the day of her death, the Porchabella glacier body had her dark blonde hair covered with a net and felt hat and was wearing a blouse. She was wearing leather shoes and wrapped in a long, lined wool coat. Investigations showed that the woman was 20 to 25 years old, had poor teeth, and came from rather poor circumstances.
