Poschiavo - Calscinan - Poschiavo

The first part is characterized by a steep climb through the forest that soon offers a view of the stone roofs of Poschiavo. The route then continues on constantly ascending paths with wide views of the village, awarded the Wakker Prize 2025.

Upon reaching the highest point, located above the Melera alpine pasture, the trail becomes more runnable. A gentle forested section leads then to the alpine pastures of Calscinan and Direll, crossing open and peaceful landscapes that tell the rural character of the valley.

The route then bends again south just above the settlement of Somaino. From here, a path leads to Mulinell, followed by a final stretch in the forest that passes through Al Bosch da li Austrini. With a short final descent, the Cimavilla district is reached.

A suggestive sequence of little-known passages, which skirts the slope and reveals surprising corners of Poschiavo, finally returns to the starting point near the Vocational School.
