Poschiavo - Calscinan - Poschiavo

The first part is characterized by a steep climb in the forest, from which you soon have a view of the stone roofs of Poschiavo. The path then continues on steadily ascending paths with a wide view of the village, which has been awarded the Wakker Prize 2025. Once at the highest point above the Maggen of Melera, the route becomes easier to walk. A gently sloping stretch of forest then leads to the gorges of Calscinan and Direll, through open and quiet landscapes that reflect the rural character of the valley. The route then turns south again above the village of Somaino. From here, a path leads to Mulinell, followed by a final section in the forest that passes through Al Bosch da li Austrini. After a short last descent, you reach the Cimavilla district. An evocative succession of little-known passages that runs along the slope and reveals surprising corners of Poschiavo finally brings us back to the starting point near the vocational school.
