Description

Over more than 40 kilometers and around 3000 meters of elevation gain, you push your limits - to the source of the Rhine.

From Sedrun, high above the NEAT base tunnel, it goes on narrow paths first to the ridge of Tgom, then follows the ultimate and partly pathless challenge on Piz Cavradi. After a drink stop at the Maighelshütte, there are two more highlights. Lake Toma, the Rhine source, which gave the run its name, and Piz Pazzola as the highest point of the run.

Those who prefer it shorter can return to the start after the descent from Tgom. That makes 16 kilometers and 1125 meters of elevation gain!

The Rhine Source Trail will not take place in 2024 due to organizational reasons
