Description

The starting point of the easy walk is the Grüsch train station. After crossing the railway crossing, simply follow the yellow hiking signposts towards Überlandquart. Leaving the village, the path later leads you over the national road and the Landquart river. At the Sporti restaurant, just after the bridge, turn left, pass the ice rink and an equestrian sports ground. Shortly afterwards, a straight, pleasantly shaded path awaits you along the riverside of the Landquart, leading you to Schiers. There you change sides of the river and return on the right side of the Landquart again to the Sporti and up to the Grüsch station.

Hidden Gem

Take a detour to the Eretsloch. From the hiking trail, follow the brown signposts marked Erezloch.  The Erezloch is a former iron ore mine. Iron ore was mined here until the 16th century.

Safety Note

There are ticks in the area around Grüsch, please wear appropriate clothing (long pants, etc.)
