Description
The route starts at the Bellavista restaurant in Parsonz. From here you head uphill towards Piz Martegnas, through snowy forests and past snow-covered alpine farms to Plaz da Piertg. On the northwest side lies Piz Toissa, which due to its shape could easily be mistaken for an extinct volcano.
Then continue, the sun on your face, along the open path to Pro Barlegn; then turn right towards Lungatigia. Here are a few more alpine farms. Two thirds of the elevation gain is now achieved. The last third is somewhat easier across the open area to the next alpine farm settlement Las Tigias. Visible on the other side: the Bergüner Stöcke Piz Mitgel, Piz Ela and Tinzenhorn.
Soon the ski slope is also in sight and opposite awaits the après-ski bar Roggis Baizli. With a slightly heavier stomach the return route leads towards Cresta da Lai and through the forest back to Parsonz. Luckily only downhill.
The route is marked with the SwitzerlandMobility route panel 574.
