Description
Short hike (approx. 45 minutes) to the Balcun At ruins. From the ruins you can enjoy a magnificent view over the village of Müstair and neighboring South Tyrol.
Directions
From the Müstair "Clostra Son Jon" post bus stop, head towards the schoolhouse. Follow the paved road to the left near the schoolhouse until you reach the bridge over the Rombach stream. Cross this bridge and then follow the path straight ahead. At the farm, leave the paved road and continue on a dirt road. Follow this dirt road straight uphill until you reach the junction with the hiking trail. From there, continue along the trail to the ruins (approx. 30 minutes).

Take the PostBus from Zernez to the Müstair "Clostra Son Jon" stop, the second-to-last stop before the Italian border.
Parking
Parking is available at the St. Johann Monastery in Müstair.
