Description
At the exit of the village, a steep path leads in a southwesterly direction up to the imposing castle ruins of Cagliatscha, built around 1200.
Down via Plans (Cluginer-Höhe), then into the Tobel Val Tgatscha and over the famous Maillard bridge to Donat. The villagescape is characterized by stately buildings such as the Marchion houses from the 17th century. In the center is the Ustreia Bavregn.
After Donat, the path runs first over the connecting road, then on the footpath that branches off to Zillis before the stream Ual da Sudan. In Zillis there is a wealth of sights to marvel at and it is worthwhile to plan enough time for this. The church of St. Martin with the
Romanesque picture ceiling from the 12th century with the exhibition on the church of Zillis, the Schams Valley Museum and the Roman place of worship from the 4th - 8th century AD are popular and interesting sights.
At the southern end of the village, the path initially follows the connecting road to Andeer. In the area of Mulegn you reach the footpath that leads through dense perennials to Pignia. Typical Shamser houses, some with interesting paintings and house sayings, are the pride of this village.
