Rundweg Viamala Süd

The circular route starts at the Viamala Gorge Visitor Centre. 250m further south (up the Rhine) turn left to Punt da Suransuns (follow signs «viaSpluga» & «transviamala»!). On the footpath over stone steps you reach the Hinterrhein. After the passage Punt da Suransuns you continue on the right side of the Rhine to the brook Val da Bargias. On the left, the viaSpluga branches off in the direction of Reischen/Zillis. The circular route leads straight ahead to the bridge Rania.
After crossing the Rhine, walk on the left side in the direction of the river back to the gorge. Before the A13 bridge, the hiking trail leads over the cantonal road up to Val Baselgia-Tobel. Via St. Ambriesch it goes back to the starting point.
