Description

The route begins with a steep ascent from Samnaun village to Zeblasjoch. Following the contour line, it leads towards Fuorcla Val Gronda. Then there is a longer push section. The Heidelberger hut is a German hut on Swiss soil, managed by Austrians. After a break, it goes down the vast Fimbatal valley to the middle station. From here, there is another steep climb back to Idalp and further to Viderjoch; alternatively, you can also take the cable car. From Viderjoch, along the border ridge to Greitspitze, where you are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views, then continue via Salaaser Kopf to the Zeblas meadows and back to Samnaun village.

Last connection from the middle station of the Silvretta cable car to Samnaun at 3 p.m.
