There you receive unique insights into the formation history of the alpine mountains and valleys. The Sardona area is of great value to schools and research, as it is evidence of mountain-building processes and plate tectonics. For over two centuries, scientists from all over the world have been researching the processes of mountain formation. In the Sardona World Heritage site, they unveil the secrets of mountain formation. Further information about the UNESCO World Heritage Sardona can be found here.
