Description
This hike is part of a pilgrimage route that led the Disentis monks to Einsiedeln. Originally, it went over the Chrüzli Pass, which has been used for centuries as a trade and pilgrimage route. Since the rockfall a few years ago, the Val Strem is closed and a detour through the Val Milar and via the Mittelplatten is signposted. Those who still want to hike the historic Chrüzli Pass must accept a detour of about 2 hours via the Alp Caschlé.
Safety Note
Attention: Due to a severe rockfall, the Val Strem is closed. Entering the hazardous area is life-threatening and prohibited. Please follow and use the signposted detour. Thank you very much!
