See-Abfahrt Flumserberg

The challenging route leads from Flumserberg Tannenboden to Unterterzen at the Walensee. It appeals in particular to mountain bikers in the categories "All Mountain" or "Enduro", because it is mainly downhill. The route entrance directly next to the mountain station of the "SeeJet" gondola lift makes an impression not only because of the beautiful view of the Churfirsten. The upcoming stone steps also impressively show that really good driving skills are required on this route. Once the stone steps have been mastered, a section of the path specially designed for mountain bikers follows. Here, waves and curves provide a lot of driving fun. On "Ahoren", a large pasture area, this first section flows into the Alpweg. From here, hikers and mountain bikers share the path and mutual consideration applies. From now on, the path runs in challenging, sometimes steep terrain. Again and again, heels and root passages demand full attention.Secluded forest clearings and the glittering Walensee ensure that the necessary breaks are also a pleasure. Particularly beautiful is the view of "Amenigen", where a beautiful viewpoint with a bench invites you to linger a little off the route. After almost 800 meters of depth, the descent becomes much more leisurely. Through the picturesque Weidtal you drive on a gravel road to "Plänti" and from there on a low-traffic asphalt road to Unterterzen station directly to the Walensee shore. Two minutes from here is a beautiful, free beach.
