Between the Rifugio Pian Grand and the serviced Capanna Buffalora hut, the hiking trail climbs steeply to Fil de Bedoleta. It crosses several passes, traverses breathtaking gaps, wide valley basins and takes you past lakes such as the Lagh de Trescolmen or the heart-shaped Lagh de Calvaresc. Taking around eight hours, this stage requires good physical fitness.

Description
Our highlight for the following stage of the Sentiero Alpino Calanca:
- Lagh de Calvaresc: The Calvaresc Lake is known among south-alpine hikers as "the heart-shaped lake". This is because this beautiful body of water takes on its silhouette coming from the north and enchants the viewer.
Capanna Buffalora: It is the only staffed hut in Val Calanca, located high above the valley cut in a magnificent panoramic position on the southern edge of the huge basin between Dragiva/Calvaresc Lake and Pass de Buffalora.
