Description
The circular route starts at the Gotschna valley station and leads us in the first section slightly downhill on the Prättigauer route along the rushing Landquart to Gulfia. Shortly afterwards, one passes under the impressive 525-meter-long Sunniberg bridge. Here, a look at the massive height of the bridge piers is worthwhile. After another two kilometers, you reach Serneus, an idyllic Walser settlement with places to stop for refreshments. Here begins the ascent to Schifer with a pleasant incline. Slightly below the Schifer station, the path turns left onto the Rütipromenade. This path is followed through beautiful wooded sections with views of the surrounding mountain landscape back to the starting point at the Gotschna valley station, where the eventful E-bike circular route ends after about one and a half hours.
Hidden Gem
Take a break before the ascent towards Schifer at the Restaurant Gotschna and enjoy the sun on the lovely terrace.
Safety Note
In the Davos Klosters destination there are many managed alpine farms with livestock. It is therefore to be expected to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration and also to ride on the terrain at an adapted pace.
