Description

The route to the Gletscherhorn in the Bergalga valley starts from Avers-Juppa. Good conditions, crampons and a touring ice axe are necessary for the tour. Starting from the parking lot of the Avers ski facilities in Juppa, you first overcome a large flat section along the winter walking path to "Olta Stofel." Then you can follow the Bergalgabach to approximately point 2137. On the summer path, you reach about point 2363, after which you follow the band below the cliffs until you reach the Gletscherhorn saddle. Over the northeast ridge, it then goes to the summit with spectacular views. The descent then follows the ascent route.
