Description

The 2.6 km long sledding trail leads you to Mathon (350 m elevation gain). The ascent from Mathon to Dros takes about 45 minutes.


In the idyllic forest clearing Dros, directly on the sledding trail to Mathon and Lohn, there is the sledding bar (formerly Tipi tent), which offers fine grill specialties and drinks. In addition to the sledding bar, other restaurants are available at Schamserberg for catering.

The opening hours of the sledding bar 2024/25: 



  • December 26 – 30 daily 12 – 4 pm

  • December 31 (New Year's Eve) 12 – 4 pm and 8 pm – open end

  • January 1 – 5 daily 12 – 4 pm

  • January 11 – February 23 Saturdays and Sundays 12 – 4 pm (in good weather)

  • From February 24 open on request


For groups of 8 or more people, raclette or the usual menu can be booked on Wednesday or Saturday evenings.

The mountain transport to the sledding trail Dros-sledding bar-Mathon is by PostAuto or private car to Mathon or Lohn.
Then it is a walk up to Dros, where the start of the sledding slope is located.

Travel Information

Take the A13 national road to exit 24 Zillis. Follow the signs to Mathon or Lohn.
