Forests, meadows, and panoramic views.
Details
Description
Shady forest paths and fascinating views make this a circular route. From Pfäfers, it goes towards Sarelli and above the hamlet of Majarina along a comfortably rising hiking trail. From Ferenberg through the Gandwald and over the mountain flank to Spig, the path becomes challenging. For this section, you should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights. Now you circle around the Pizalun and then climb it from the Bündner side. The view from the platform accessible by stairs is the highlight of this hike.
Hidden Gem
The Pizalun viewing platform offers a great panoramic view.
Safety Note
The section across the mountain flank to Spig is very challenging. Some passages lead over slip areas, so the already narrow path can often slide away. Other passages have large steps and run directly along the slope. You should be sure-footed and not afraid of heights.
Equipment
Normal hiking equipment, sturdy mountain boots.
