Details
Description
This circular tour offers shady forest paths and fascinating views. From Pfäfers, the route heads towards Sarelli and above the hamlet of Majarina along a gently ascending hiking trail. From Ferenberg through the Gandwald forest and over the mountain flank to Spig, the trail becomes more challenging. You should be sure-footed and have a head for heights for this section. Now you curve around the Pizalun and then climb it from the Grisons side. The view from the platform, which is accessible via a staircase, is the highlight of this hike.
Hidden Gem
The Pizalun viewing platform offers a fantastic panoramic view.
Safety Note
The section over the mountain flank to Spig is very challenging. Certain passages lead over landslide terrain, which is why the already narrow path can often slip away. Other sections have large footholds and run directly along the slope. You should be free from giddiness and sure-footed.
Equipment
Normal hiking equipment, sturdy mountain boots.
