Details

Description

The run begins at the Dario Cologna Langlaufzentrum in Davos. As a short warm-up phase, the route leads across Davos up to the Davos Congress Centre. At its bus stop, the path goes up Scalettastrasse to the Hohe Promenade and then in large hairpin bends on the Thomas Mann Way, on the sunny side of Davos, through snow-covered forests up to the historic Schatzalp.

From Schatzalp, the winter hiking trail leads further up to the Strela Alp and up to the Strelapass. The return follows the same path down to Schatzalp. Those who want to take a break on the descent can indulge themselves with hearty specialties on the large sunny terrace and the great alpine panorama in the rustic mountain restaurant. From Schatzalp, you can decide whether to go down on foot or take the Schatzalpbahn.
