Description

If you enjoy sledding, it's worth bringing a sled. Follow the pink-marked zig-zag path through the snow-covered village forest. Along the way, you have spectacular views of the village of Sufers and the entire Sufnersee. To return to the starting point, walk back the same way or enjoy the sled ride down into the village. In Sufers, there is a village shop, a restaurant, and a dairy.

Information about the condition of the winter hiking trails in Rheinwald can be found here.

Hidden Gem

A little away from the village is the Crestawald Fortress Museum, where guided tours take place weekly in winter (end of January to mid-March). Registration is required at the Viamala tourist information. Free visits are not possible in winter.
