Description
From Savognin (Ski lift mountain station Piz Cartas):
From Savognin take the cable cars to Piz Martegnas and the ski lift to Piz Cartas (2712 m). First a short descent southwest down to the saddle north of Seelein (2602 m). Then ascend the opposite slope, swinging right, to the southwest to the distinctive rocky peak with summit cross, which is climbed on foot from the south. 3/4 hour.
Descent: along the ascent route and then east into the piste area. More beautiful, however, via Radons.
Descent to Radons and Savognin:
From the summit (2829 m) to the southeast and south of point 2639 into Val Freida. Through this little valley to the hut at point 2387 and down the beautiful east-facing slopes of Tschers to Radons (1866 m). Further via the ski slope to Malmigiucr and then to Sur Curt (1173 m) to the valley station.
