The original route of the Engadin Ski Marathon


On the 42 km long marathon route, the runners move over frozen lakes, past typical Engadin villages and through a unique winter landscape to S-chanf.

Description
The cross-country trail starts in Maloja, runs over the frozen Engadin lakes (Silsersee, Silvaplanersee, and Champfèrersee), into the Stazer forest to Pontresina. From here, the trail follows the valley floor along the airfield, continuing via Bever to S-chanf.
Hidden Gem
At the multi-purpose hall in Maloja, visitors have access to a spacious cloakroom with a warm shower and toilet.
Equipment
Equipment can be rented at the local sports shop "Giacometti Sport, Maloja".
