Description

The route starts in Davos Frauenkirch and initially goes slightly uphill over the Börter to the highest point of the route at Rissbüdämji. After enjoying the beautiful view, you cross the Sutzibach and follow the marked snowshoe route over the Lengmatta to the ARA bus stop, Davos Glaris. At both the start and end points of the route, there is an opportunity to stop at a cozy restaurant. The route can also be combined with other Davos snowshoe trails at both ends (Landwasser Trail & Wildboden Trail).

Hidden Gem

A visit to Schraemli's Lengmatta or the Landhuus Restaurant along the route is highly worthwhile.

Also highly recommended is a detour to the beautifully located Berghaus Stafelalp. Attention: The route to it is not signposted as an official snowshoe trail.
