Description

The official toboggan run leads from the Laret forest (above the Hotel Waldhaus) down to Lake Sils. Toboggan races are regularly held here and are organised by the Swiss Ski School, Corvatsch.

The location of the Kuhstall mountain hut at Alp Prasüra high above Sils is superb – it's right beside the ski piste, with sublime views of the valley. The hut is also the starting point for a delightful toboggan ride – or walk – back down to the valley floor. After you cross the piste, you follow the wide curve of the prepared path, which later leads through the snow-blanketed forest back down to the Furtschellas base station. At night, lanterns add to the charm of the descent – which is open as long as at least ten people have made reservations at the Kuhstall.
