Suitable for strollers: Vicosoprano - Promontogno

Comfortable, mostly flat route on small roads and dirt paths.

The path passes the “Casa Helvetia,” the large building of EWZ, and leads into the forest. You pass the La Stria sculptures and arrive at the magnificent old houses of Borgonovo. There you cross the old stone bridge with two arches and reach the other side of the valley to Coltura and there to Palazzo Castelmur.
On the way to Caccior is the San Pietro church with a painting by the artist Augusto Giacometti. Behind Caccior, the path descends to the bridge over the Maira and follows the village road into Promontogno.

Here you cross the beautiful bridge with two arches and reach the right side of the valley to Coltura, where at the end of the village stands Palazzo Castelmur. The route continues to the houses of Caccior and from there on a dirt path downhill to Promontogno.
