Trailrun - Illagrass Chäscherli loop

The varied circular tour leads across the village square past the village church and up towards Rongg. Via Illagrass and Marcheggastrasse, the route leads through the tranquil Marcheggawald forest to Kippe. The route then descends via Chäscherlistrasse and the old Zerfreilaweg back to the village.

The route leads over the village bridge onto the village square, past the village church and up through the alley. Turn left at Hotel Valserhof and follow the road to the next junction in the direction of Pradätsch. Continue along the melioration road to Illagrass, where you cross the Peilerbach stream.

This is followed by a slight ascent to Peilerstrasse. From there, follow the signpost to Marchegga. The Marcheggastrasse leads steadily uphill through the tranquil Marcheggawald forest to the turn-off towards Kippe/Chäscherli/Ampervreila. A short forest path connects with the Chäscherli road.

From here, the route runs downhill and later joins the Alter Zerfreilaweg. Back in the village, the leisurely final section leads straight ahead along the embankment path along the Vals Rhine back to the starting point.
