Description

The starting point of the Val Sporz snowshoe tour is the Val Sporz parking lot, which is easiest to reach by the sports bus.

Follow the winter hiking trail towards Sporz. After a few hundred metres, the trail turns into the open field.

At the highest point near the hamlet of Sporz, a somewhat steeper descent awaits. Along the forest edge, the destination is reached. Once merely a pass location between Chur and Tiefencastel, the Lenzerheide holiday region in the high valley at 1500 metres is now a popular winter and summer resort.

Return to the starting point via the winter hiking trail.

Travel by train to Chur, then transfer directly to the PostautoGraubünden buses and reach Lenzerheide within 30 minutes.

A free sports bus is available in the village.

From Milan - Lugano - San Bernardino Tunnel - Thusis - Chur (Lenzerheide exit) - Lenzerheide.

Parking lots at the entrance to Lenzerheide or at the base station of the Rothorn cable car.
