Via Son Giachen: Falera - Andiast

This stage of the Camino de Santiago, like many other sections, runs mainly over heights and thus allows a far-sightedness that obviously belongs closely with the idea of pilgrimage.
From Falera we hike up the Surselva on the sunny side of the valley and soon cross the Val da Cafegns, which even in summer channels meltwater from the large snow and ski area to our right down to the Vorderrhein. In front of Ladir we come across a little frequented road, which brings us to Ruschein. Again on nature trails we cross the Val da Mulin and reach up to Siat. We continue to climb and reach Pigniu, on german Panix, and then cross the side valley below the Panix reservoir. From Cuolms you can see the dam wall.
On the other side of the side valley we continue to Andiast, from where we can enjoy the view over Surselva again.
