Etappe 7: historischer Transitweg oberhalb von Zillis

Old transit trail from the Albulatal valley into Schams. Views across to the Walser settlements on Heinzenberg. Through sparse larch forests and across alp pastures into the romantic Val Schons. Sgraffito adorns the stately dwelling houses of Zillis and Andeer, where therapeutic baths reward the weary hiker.

Description

The old transit route leads from the Albula Valley into Schams. From Obermutten, you hike through bright larch forests and over alpine pastures into the Romansh Val Schons. Before the descent, there is a beautiful view across to the Walser settlements on the Heinzenberg. Sgraffito adorn the stately houses of Zillis and Andeer, whose spa makes tired feet fit again.
