Solid, warm clothing. Winter hiking boots, sun protection. Possibly poles or shoe spikes.

Directions

Gently ascending path past the impressive dam to the chapel St. Bartholomew. The same way back, now with a view downhill.

To Vals (Post bus stop) by PostAuto coming from Ilanz.


Then continue with the Zervreila shuttle to Zerfreila (runs Wednesday to Sunday, 3 times a day)

Travel Information

Via Chur-Ilanz to Vals. Then continue by private car to Zerfreila (pay attention to road conditions, possibly snow chains required).
