Description

The start is just above the Arflina mountain hut, where you leave the winter hiking trail to Arflinafurgga to the right. From here, the path leads at the foot of the Glattwang with a few slight ascents downhill. On this section, there is a great view across to the St. Antönier valley. After about 1.5 km of trail, you cross the sledding run and switch to the other side of the valley. Now it goes slightly uphill to the mountain hut «Heuberge». Those who want to return to the mountain hut «Arflina» still have 70 meters of ascent ahead.

Safety Note

The road to the Fideriser Heuberge is closed to private motor vehicle traffic in winter. Small buses of the Fideriser Heuberge take you from the valley station «sawmill» up to the Heuberge. The current bus timetable can be found on the website of the Fideriser Heuberge, www.heuberge.ch.
