Description

Take the chairlift at the valley station Waltensburg to reach the starting point of the winter hike at the mid-station. (Attention, you must get off at the mid-station)

The hike runs from the mid-station towards the old Sägerei Gneida. The Ladralbach is crossed shortly before the Sägerei Gneida. Immediately afterwards, it goes parallel to the creek up into the Ladral valley. Here the wide valley floor opens up and offers visitors an impressive backdrop. On the way back shortly after the Sägerei Gneida, take the winter hiking trail downhill until you reach the valley station in Waltensburg.

In uncertain weather conditions, the route should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are common. If a bad weather front or the like arises during the hike, you should turn back in time.
