Description
The start of the route is the cross-country center in Pontresina. First, a short stretch along the road towards the village, before the winter hiking trail leads right up into the forest and to the small Surovas station. On the winter hiking trail, along the frozen Ova da Bernina, to Morteratsch station and on the wide path up to the Morteratsch Glacier. Always in view: the impressive Bernina group. Return on the same path to Morteratsch station. Take the road to the Morteratsch campsite and on the winter hiking trail through the campsite, along the pass road, back to Pontresina.
