Details
Description
The start of the hike is in Falera. The winter hike then takes you further into culturally significant Ruschein. The church hill was already a cult and sacrifice site in pagan times. After a short climb, you reach Siat to enjoy the surrounding mountain landscape. Siat is home to an architectural highlight – here the internationally renowned architect Gion A. Caminada built the guest room Ustria Steila.
The two beautifully situated villages lie on the south side of the Surselva between 1,200 and 1,300 meters above sea level. You can therefore expect plenty of sun on an easy winter hiking trail.
