Description
Long hike in a beautiful high valley with some slight ascents and slopes.
Hidden Gem
Rest in the cozy Lampertschalp (open until about mid-September) or in the Läntahütte SAC (open until about mid-October).

Surefootedness required.
On this hike, you must expect mother cows.

Equipment
Solid, rainproof, warm clothing. Sturdy mountain or trekking shoes. Gloves, hat, sun protection. Hiking poles, food and drinks from your backpack, first aid kit, topographic map, altimeter, compass, mobile phone, flashlight.
Directions
From the Zervreila restaurant towards Zerfreila chapel. Do not cross the dam. Continue with an easy descent towards Canal bridge. Cross this bridge. Continue towards Ochsastafel and to Lampertschalp (1991 m, place to stop for food and drink). Then continue hiking for about an hour to the Läntahütte SAC (2090 m, place to stop for food and drink). Return the same way to Zerfreila.
