Description

The starting point of this circular walk is at Zernez station. First, head through the village towards the church and cemetery. At the height of the church, turn left onto the hiking trail towards Sivü. The path leads uphill through the open forest. After just over 3 km, almost all the altitude has been gained. Now follows an easy-to-walk path with a panoramic view of the valley and the opposite mountains. After 4.7 km you reach the Sivü clearing with some hunting huts. Now the descent begins and the return route follows via Clüs Dadoura on a forest road back to Zernez.

  • From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass into the Lower Engadin on H27

  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27

  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
