Description
Behind the Hotel Posta in Platta, the hiking trail leads us first over pastures, later through the forest to Alp Puzzetta, one of the oldest Alps in the canton of Graubünden, which was always bumped with goats. The fact that this alp has been preserved for so many years can certainly be attributed to the well-located, large-scale and high-standing pastures.
In the spring of 2005, the dilapidated hut was rebuilt and today forms a very special attraction with the red building shining far into the landscape. We take an extensive break near the alpine building before descending almost in a straight line through the forest to Fuorns. On the left side we have an insight into the wild waters that rush from the Val Buora to the valley.
In Fuorns we change to the other side of the valley and enjoy the leisurely hiking along the Rein da Fuorns, past the picturesque houses and meadows of Muots, Matergia and Drual to Platta.
