Casa d'Angel
Since 2015, the Casa d'Angel has been the cultural centre of the municipality of Lumnezia. In collaboration with the Fundaziun Capauliana and changing curators, a new exhibition takes place every year and one of the two giant crystals of Péz Regina is exhibited on the ground floor.

Description

Casa d'Angel has a long history. The original house dates back to the 17th century. In 1987 it was renovated by Peter Zumthor and used as a parish hall. The building has become a striking contribution to the topic of old and new. On the entrance façade and in the front part of the building, apart from the new entrance, little changed. The brick area in the middle could be the remnant of a former residential tower. On the rear façade, a large, almost square window opening brings light into the part of the building, which has been converted into a foyer.

In 2015, after a gentle renovation, it was opened as a cultural centre of the municipality of Lumnezia. It offers space for exhibitions, events and the home for the great crystal of Péz Regina – one of the largest crystal groups in Europe. In collaboration with the Fundaziun Capauliana and changing curators, a new exhibition takes place every year.

Village, house and crystal tours can be carried out by appointment and regardless of the opening hours.
