Flumserberg lies on a sunny terrace above Lake Walen and can be reached from Unterterzen in 12 minutes by cable car or by car from Flums. 150 kilometres of hiking and theme trails, the toboggan run Floomzer and the Cliimber climbing tower as well as numerous mountain inns provide variety. In summer, the "Bikerberg" with its 13 kilometres of bike slopes and biker-friendly transport facilities is also attractive. In winter, Flumserberg with its 65 km of ski slopes and its wide range of winter sports is a popular attraction for skiers, ice-skaters, cross-country skiers, winter hikers or snowshoe hikers. Flumserberg is the largest ski area between Zurich and Chur and is directly connected to the S-Bahn network by cable car from Unterterzen and can be reached within a short time from Zurich airport, for example.
