Seeztobel

The Seeztobel is largely unknown. With its washed-out colourful stones and the imposing furrows that the water has eaten into the rock over the centuries, the wild ravine offers exciting discoveries for hikers and nature lovers.

From the Mels village square, it goes via Oberdorf into the ravine. On the way, not only a rock pulpit enthroned high above the abyss with the name Zweischlösser-Blick beckons (you can see the two castles Sargans and Gutenberg in the Principality of Liechtenstein). Suddenly, two earth pillars pile up above the path, which were already mentioned a hundred years ago. Behind the Tobel power plant is the narrowest part of the ravine: an impressive sight!
