The impounding reservoir Hintere Hütte is situated on 2'055 m asl in Arosa. Other than the artificial lake Iselsee/Stausee, it does not serve the power production but the artificial snow production and belongs to the Arosa Bergbahnen AG.

Description

The eleven meters deep impounding reservoir Hintere Hütte exists since 2009 and is situated between Mt. Weisshorn and the Tschuggen region. The lake catches up to 60'000 m³ and is filled with water of the overflow of the reservoir "Auf den Wiesen".

The impounding reservoir can be accessed by foot or by the Cable car Arosa - Weisshorn.

Leave your car at the parking  garage Ochsenbühl and take a ride with the Cable car Arosa - Weisshorn to the middlestation.

Leave your car at the parking garage Ochsenbühl, Innerarosa or on the parking lot next to Lake Obersee.
