Wall paintings from around 1400 have been preserved in the Stoffelhaus in Fürstenau, some of which depict a courtly hunting ceremony. In Graubünden, only Brandis Castle in Maienfeld and Rhäzüns Castle still have similar High Gothic secular paintings.

The printing house Offizin Parnassia in Vättis combines traditional craftsmanship with modern book production. In the workshop, lead type is cast, books are printed on hand presses, and classically bound. Tours are available upon registration.

The Sardona Glacier is located on the St. Gallen side of Piz Sardona and flows into the Walsertal Calfeisen. In addition to the Sardona Glacier, the Chli Glacier is also clearly visible. A famous legend surrounds the glacier.

The Klingenhorn Wynegg castle ruins in Malans is a historical site, separated from the hillside by a neck ditch. The tower is preserved up to three stories, but is in poor condition and overgrown with shrubs.
