The printing house Offizin Parnassia in Vättis combines traditional craftsmanship with modern book production. In the workshop, lead type is cast, books are printed on hand presses, and classically bound. Tours are available upon registration.

The Sardona Glacier is located on the St. Gallen side of Piz Sardona and flows into the Walsertal Calfeisen. In addition to the Sardona Glacier, the Chli Glacier is also clearly visible. A famous legend surrounds the glacier.

The Klingenhorn Wynegg castle ruins in Malans is a historical site, separated from the hillside by a neck ditch. The tower is preserved up to three stories, but is in poor condition and overgrown with shrubs.

Devon House in the street of the Palaces is the first stop on our itinerary. Built in 1863 by the Italian architect Giovanni Sottovia for Pietro Pozzi – an emigrant who made his fortune in the city of Porto with his pastry chef business – in 1908 the palace became the property of the Semadeni family – also a family of emigrants who ran a successful café in the town of Ilfracombe, in the county of Devon in south-west England.
